This evening, Engine 12 responded to a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the vehicle was a Tesla electric car. The fire was extinguished, but due to the batteries, kept reigniting. Because there were no exposures, it was determined that the best course of action would be to allow the fire to self extinguish. Engine 12 remained on scene for several hours.
