Friday afternoon, Allegheny County 911 received multiple calls for a dwelling fire on Parkview Avenue in North Braddock. The first alarm assignment was dispatched, and after confirmation of a working fire Quint 1 was requested to move into Braddock Station 113 for standby. Prior to dispatch, 207 Chief requested the second alarm, bringing Quint 1 to the scene with a crew of 6. The Quint operated on the scene for about 2 hours primarily doing overhaul, during which time additional crews in station staffed Engine 12 and Medic 19 to cover our first due area.
