Saturday evening, Engine 12 and Engine 61 were dispatched for a fire in the woods behind a residence on Old Northern Pike. Engine 12 found a fire in the woods due to an electrical problem. Because the residence sat very far back from the road, Engine 12 backed down the driveway and went off road for access to the fire. Once Duquesne Light arrived and isolated the power, Engine 12 extinguished the fire and returned in service without incident.
