MUTUAL AID KITCHEN FIRE Thursday, December 24, 2009  - Around midnight last night Station 1 was dispatched for mutual aid into Turtle Creek for a residential kitchen fire. Quint 1 responded with 5 personal and Squad 1 responded with 4. Quint 1 arrived onscene and per command was to send manpower to front of house and standby. Crew were then asked to assist with checking for extension and overhaul ops. Crew used a TIC to check hot spots during overhaul. No extension was found. Crew were onscene for almost 1hr. Units were released by command. Fire is under investigation by ACFM.
