RESIDENTAL STRUCTURE FIRE Wednesday, March 31, 2010  - Around 2am this morning Monroeville Police came upon a vacant residence with a moderate smoke condition. Monroeville dispatch then dispatched the fire department. Units arrived within a few minutes. Chief 40 (S.Feyes) established command. Crews from E-42 pulled attack lines to the basement area of the house and found a small fire. Crews contained and extinguished the fire without incident. T-4, E-51 and E-12 assisted with ladders, lights and checking for extension in the residence. Squad 1 was set up and supplied scene lighting and filled a number of air bottles. Units remained onscene for a few hours to assist investigators. Incident under investigation by ACFM and MPD.
